it made me think about how sometimes I feel like I am creating a web of objects that seem complex for the simple problem. Maybe I&#039;m not doing the simplest thing, maybe I am over-engineering for the future change that may come or not. Maybe the domain model is not fleshed out...

I feel though having an understanding of other modeling techniques/languages helps. Eric Evans touches on this in side-effect free functions which help reduce the conceptual complexity and increase the expresiveness of your code.
